child neglect

hello bellie friends!

sorry the bellie blog has been in an absolute state of neglect the past few...months...ahem!

but no fear, we are back in FULL FORCE [if by full force you mean half of us are in africa, but whatevs, distance makes the heart grow more creative]

i want to be sure you are all aware of Ric Rac Roundup this weekend.

i worked as an intern for Bon Bon Atelier in the summer of 08, and since then i like to linger and be their little lurking presence, so they appease me by letting me help with Ric Rac twice a year!

 basically, it is a craft fair for local artisans who are much more talented and successful than we are.  they have amazing jewelry, bath fizzies, and stuffed chickens to offer!

and...

this year, bellie rings [a whole new collection!] will be available!

...and on a slight production hiatus (being that kelly is the one with the magic-soldering-touch and she is currently on a completely different continent for a few more weeks!) I'll keep you posted on any new finds, creations, etc.

a friend of ours let us take these precious family treasures, and make them into rings! kelly had fun giving them "new life", and they turned out smashingly lovely! i almost pocketed the one with the blue stones-sparklay!
